Chapter 1: Simpleton’s Adventure
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a kind boy named Simpleton. He was not very smart, but he had a big heart. Everyone in the village called him Simpleton because he did not understand many things. But he always tried his best to help others.
One sunny day, Simpleton went into the forest to gather wood for his mother. As he walked, he saw an old man sitting on a log. The old man looked sad and hungry. Simpleton felt sorry for him.
“Hello, sir! Would you like some food?” Simpleton asked. The old man smiled and said, “Thank you, dear boy. I have not eaten all day.”
Simpleton shared his lunch with the old man. The old man was very grateful. “You are a good boy, Simpleton. I want to give you a special gift,” he said. Then, he handed Simpleton a beautiful golden goose.
“What a lovely goose!” Simpleton exclaimed. He took the goose and thanked the old man. With a happy heart, Simpleton headed back home.
As he walked, Simpleton saw his brother and sister. They were playing by the river. When they saw the golden goose, they laughed. “Look at Simpleton and his silly goose!” they teased.
But Simpleton didn’t mind. He loved his golden goose. As he walked past his siblings, something magical happened. When they tried to touch the goose, they got stuck to it!
“Oh no! Help us!” they cried. Simpleton giggled as he walked away with the golden goose, and his brother and sister were stuck behind him.
Chapter 2: The Princess’s Wish
Simpleton decided to show his golden goose to the king. The king loved shiny things. When Simpleton arrived at the palace, everyone gasped at the golden goose.
“Who is that boy?” asked the king. “He has a magical goose!” Simpleton smiled and said, “This is my golden goose. She is very special.”
The king wanted to see if he could touch the goose. But when he tried, he got stuck too! Soon, the queen and all the palace guards tried to help him, but they all got stuck to the goose.
Simpleton laughed and said, “You all have to come with me!” He led them to the village, where everyone was amazed.
The princess saw the big group and asked, “What is happening?” When she saw the golden goose, she clapped her hands in delight.
“I wish to have a golden goose too!” she said.
Simpleton smiled and replied, “You can have my golden goose, but only if you promise to share her with everyone.” The princess agreed.
From that day on, Simpleton, the princess, and the golden goose brought joy to everyone in the village. They all lived happily ever after, sharing kindness and laughter where they went.
And so, Simpleton learned that being kind and sharing brings the greatest happiness of all.
