Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a poor boy named Jack. He lived with his mother, who was a widow, and they had nothing but a cow. One day, their cow stopped giving milk, and they had no money to buy food. Jack’s mother told him to take the cow to the market and sell it.

On the way to the market, Jack met a mysterious old man who offered him magic beans in exchange for the cow. Jack, intrigued by the offer, traded the cow for the beans and rushed home to show his mother.

Upon seeing the beans, Jack’s mother was furious and threw them out the window. Disappointed, Jack went to bed hungry. The next morning, however, Jack woke up to find a gigantic beanstalk reaching up to the sky where the beans had fallen.

Filled with curiosity, Jack decided to climb the beanstalk. As he ascended higher and higher, he entered a land above the clouds. There, he found a magnificent castle inhabited by a terrifying giant.

Jack explored the castle and discovered a hen that laid golden eggs and a magical harp that played beautiful melodies. Determined to help his family, Jack decided to take these treasures back home.

One day, while Jack was trying to escape with the treasures, the giant woke up. With the giant hot on his heels, Jack slid down the beanstalk, clutching the treasures tightly.

As soon as Jack reached the ground, he grabbed an axe and chopped down the beanstalk. With a mighty crash, the beanstalk fell, taking the giant with it.

Jack and his mother sold the treasures and became rich. They lived happily ever after, thanks to the magic beans that changed their lives forever.
