Once upon a time, there were five little puppies who lived with their mother in a cozy den. One of the puppies was the pokiest of them all, always lagging behind and taking his time. Despite being scolded by his mother for being so poky, the little puppy continued to dawdle and explore at his own pace.

One day, the puppies smelled something delicious coming from beyond the fence. They decided to sneak out and follow their noses to the source of the scent. The poky little puppy, being the last one to reach the spot, discovered a hole in the fence and squeezed through to find a field of sweet-smelling flowers.

The other puppies followed him, and they all frolicked in the field, enjoying the aroma and the freedom of being outside. They lost track of time and stayed out until dusk. When they returned home, they found their dinner already finished, and their mother was not pleased with their disobedience.

Days passed, and the little puppies continued their adventures, always led by the poky little puppy’s curiosity. They visited different places, met new friends, and had many exciting experiences together.

Eventually, the puppies learned that being poky wasn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes, taking your time and exploring at your own pace could lead to wonderful discoveries and memorable moments.

And so, the poky little puppy and his siblings grew up, cherishing the lessons they learned and the adventures they shared in their playful and curious youth.
