Once upon a time, in a cheerful little village, there lived a sweet girl known for her lovely red cloak with a hood. Everyone in the village adored her, and she loved them back.

One bright morning, her mother said, “Dear, your grandmother is not feeling well. Can you take this basket of goodies to her house? She would be so happy to see you!”

The girl’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Of course, Mama! I will be very careful!” She packed the basket with fresh bread, butter, and some delicious cookies. After giving her mother a big hug, she set off down the forest path toward her grandmother’s cottage.

As she walked through the forest, the sun shone brightly, and the birds sang sweet songs. She loved the forest; it was filled with colorful flowers and friendly animals. Suddenly, she heard a rustling sound in the bushes. Curious, she stopped to look.

Out came a sly wolf! “Hello there, little girl,” he said with a big grin. “Where are you going on this lovely day?”

“I’m going to visit my grandmother,” she replied. “She lives in a cozy cottage on the other side of the forest.”

The wolf thought for a moment and said, “Why don’t you pick some beautiful flowers for your grandmother? She would love them!”

The girl thought this was a wonderful idea and began to pick flowers of all colors. While she was busy gathering flowers, the wolf sneaked away toward Grandma’s house.

Chapter 2: The Wolf’s Trick

The wolf hurried to Grandma’s cottage and knocked on the door. “It’s me, your granddaughter!” he called in a sweet voice.

Grandma, who was feeling weak in bed, opened the door. But before she could say anything, the wolf jumped inside! He quickly hid Grandma in a closet and put on her nightgown and cap. Then he lay down in her bed and waited for the girl to arrive.

When she finally reached her grandmother’s house, she noticed that the door was slightly open. “Grandma?” she called out as she stepped inside. Everything seemed quiet.

She walked into the bedroom and saw what looked like her grandmother lying under the covers. “Oh, Grandma! What big ears you have!” exclaimed Little Red Riding Hood.

“All the better to hear you with, my dear,” replied the wolf in a gruff voice.

“And what big eyes you have!” she continued.

“All the better to see you with,” said the wolf.

Feeling something strange but not knowing what it was, she took another step closer and said, “And what big teeth you have!”

“All the better to eat you with!” roared the wolf as he jumped out of bed!

The girl was frightened but remembered her mother’s advice about being brave. She quickly grabbed a nearby broom and swung it at the wolf! The wolf yelped in surprise and ran out of the house as fast as he could.

Chapter 3: A Happy Reunion

Just then, Grandma came out of the closet. “Thank you for saving me!” she said gratefully, hugging her tightly.

“I was so scared!” said Little Red Riding Hood. “But I remembered to be brave!”

They both laughed and sat down together. She opened her basket and shared all the goodies with her grandmother. They enjoyed warm bread with butter and delicious cookies while telling each other stories about their day.

After they finished eating, Grandma said, “You know, my dear, you were very clever today! You didn’t let that mean wolf scare you.”

The girl smiled proudly. “I learned that being brave is important!”

From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood always remembered to be cautious in the forest but never stopped being kind and brave. She visited her grandmother often and always brought treats to share.

And so, they lived happily ever after—full of love, laughter, and many more adventures in their beautiful forest!
