- The Squishy Pumpkin: Make this toy look incredibly soft and sweet! Use a bright, vibrant orange for the pumpkin, and give it sweet pastel pink rosy cheeks.
- The Kawaii Cat: Color the kitten a cool midnight black to match the Halloween theme, or make it a cute pastel purple or green for a magical fantasy look.
- The Witch Hat and Background: Color the tiny witch hat a deep purple with a shiny gold buckle. Paint the floating bats a soft, friendly gray and make the magic stars glow with bright yellow!
Fun Facts About Halloween and Squishy Toys!
While your kids are busy picking out the perfect festive colors, share these fun facts to make the activity even more engaging:
- Squishy toys are perfect for Halloween because squeezing them helps relieve stress, making them a great calming tool after a long, exciting night of trick-or-treating.
- Pumpkins are actually a type of fruit, not a vegetable, and carving them with silly or scary faces is a tradition that is hundreds of years old!
- Black cats and tiny bats are classic symbols of Halloween, but in the kawaii art style, they are always drawn to look incredibly sweet, friendly, and ready to play.
