Colorful Ideas for Your Magical Sky
A giant rainbow is the absolute best excuse to use every single color in the box! Here are some fun ideas to make this cheerful scene look amazing:
- The Magical Rainbow: Follow the classic rainbow pattern using bright red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, or create your very own magical pastel rainbow!
- The Happy Puppies: Color the fluffy puppies using warm chocolate browns, golden yellows, or cool grays so they stand out beautifully against the bright green grass.
- The Sunny Sky: Make the smiling sun a bright, glowing yellow and color the sky a soft, beautiful baby blue to frame the rainbow perfectly.
Fun Facts About Rainbows and Dogs!
While your kids are busy picking out the perfect bright colors, share these fun facts to make the activity even more engaging:
- Rainbows are actually created when bright sunlight shines through millions of tiny water raindrops floating in the air, acting like tiny prisms!
- Many people think dogs can only see in black and white, but that is a myth! Dogs can actually see colors, especially blues and yellows.
- From the ground, a rainbow looks like an arch, but if you look at a rainbow from an airplane high in the sky, it is actually a complete, perfect circle.
