He is shown resting happily next to a cute, circular bamboo steamer basket, waving hello with an incredibly sweet smile and giant, expressive kawaii eyes. Soft and Peaceful Colors for a Gentle Friend
A calm and comforting buddy like Bao is the perfect opportunity to play with warm, cozy shades and pastel palettes! Encourage your young artist to try these creative ideas:
- Bao’s Natural Warmth: Dumpling toys look beautiful in soft, natural tones. Try using light creams, warm ivory, and soft sand shades for his perfectly round body, adding bright, rosy pink to his big blushing cheeks!
- The Tiny Pleat: Give the twisted pleat on the very top of his head a unique look! Your child can shade it with contrasting pastel yellow, warm peach, or keep it classic.
- The Cozy Steamer: Bring the bamboo basket and background to life! Use earthy browns, warm tans, and golden yellows for the woven bamboo steamer, and fill the floating stars and steam swirls with soft pastel blues, pinks, and purples to highlight Bao’s peaceful, friendly aura.
