Double the squish means double the fun! If your children love cozy stories, silly jokes, and the comforting, sensory experience of soft squeezable toys, this Bao and Cheddar cute squishy coloring page is going to be the absolute highlight of their day. Bringing together the two most beloved, contrasting friends from the playroom, this printable activity offers a wonderful, screen-less way for toddlers and preschoolers to celebrate friendship while exploring their artistic skills.
This heartwarming illustration features Bao, the calm, perfectly round dumpling squishy, and Cheddar, the energetic, triangular cheese squishy, side-by-side! Known as the heart of the squad, gentle Bao is waving happily, while his hilarious partner Cheddar, covered in playful cheese holes, is laughing heartily and waving back. Set on a cozy playroom counter with a cute bamboo steamer, playful stars, laughter bubbles, and tiny heart doodles, this dynamic duo is perfectly outlined with thick, easy-to-color boundaries for young artists.
A Vibrant Feast of Playful Colors
Having two distinct squishy friends in one picture means your child gets to play with incredible color contrasts! Encourage your young artist to try these creative shading ideas:
- Bao the Peaceful Dumpling: Use soft, natural tones like light cream, warm ivory, or pale peach for his round body, and make sure to add a bright, rosy pink to his chubby blushing cheeks to capture his gentle, comforting look.
- Cheddar the Joyful Cheese: Break out your brightest, sunniest yellows and warm golden-oranges to make him pop! Don’t forget a touch of playful pink or red for his wide, laughing open mouth, and feel free to color his “cheese craters” in contrasting tones.
- The Playroom Background: Bring the cozy scene to life! Use earthy browns and warm tans for the bamboo steamer, and fill the floating stars, bubbles, and playful room patterns with a rainbow of pastel blues, greens, and purples to highlight their fun-filled friendship.
Discover Their Heartwarming Adventures!
The creative magic does not have to stop at the edge of the paper! Did you know that Bao and Cheddar are the ultimate dream team of The Squishy Society?
While Bao always makes sure everyone listens and works together peacefully, Cheddar’s job is to keep the team laughing and happy on their toughest challenges. Together, they prove that no matter how different we are—whether we are a quiet dumpling or a silly piece of cheese—friendship and teamwork make us unstoppable!
While your little ones are busy adding color to their tiny arms and happy faces, they can listen to the exciting audio adventures of their squad. Put on The Squishy Society audio stories to find out what kind of magical, bouncy, and cooperative escapades Bao, Cheddar, and their friends get into when the humans leave the room. Combining a relaxing coloring session with engaging storytelling is a wonderful way to inspire natural learning and keep young minds creatively entertained.
