Welcome to this audio bedtime story Join Tito, a little hedgehog, on his journey overcoming difficult making friends with kindness.

Chapter 1: The Lonely Little Hedgehog

In a very green forest, there lived a little hedgehog named Tito. Tito was kind and wanted to have friends, but there was a problem: every time he tried to play with other animals, they moved away because they were afraid of his spines.

“Hello, little squirrel! Can I play with you?” Tito asked one day.

The squirrel quickly moved away and said:

“Sorry, Tito, but your spines might prick me.”

Tito felt sad and walked alone through the forest. He tried to approach the rabbits, the birds, and even a turtle, but everyone seemed to avoid him out of fear of his spines.

“No one wants to be my friend,” Tito whispered with a sigh.

One day, while Tito was sitting next to a tree, he saw a little mouse trying to reach an apple that had fallen into a puddle. The mouse pushed the apple with his paws, but he couldn’t get it out because it kept slipping.

Tito had an idea. He carefully approached and used his spines to poke the apple and lift it out of the puddle. Then, he handed it to the mouse.

“Here you go!” Tito said with a smile.

The little mouse took the apple and smiled.

“Thank you, Tito! You’re very kind!”

Tito felt happy, but he still had no friends to play with. He sighed and continued on his way, not knowing that something was about to change his life.

Chapter 2: True Friends

The next day, the little mouse, whose name was Rulo, went to find Tito.

“Tito, I want to introduce you to my friends. Come with me!” Rulo said excitedly.

Tito hesitated. What if Rulo’s friends were also afraid of him?

But he decided to try and followed Rulo to a clearing in the forest. There were a turtle, an owl, and a frog.

“This is Tito, the hedgehog who helped me yesterday,” Rulo said.

The animals smiled, and the turtle spoke first:

“Hello, Tito. Rulo told us how kind you were. We would love to be your friends!”

Tito smiled shyly.

“Aren’t you afraid of my spines?” he asked.

The owl shook his head and said:

“A true friend doesn’t care about what you look like on the outside, but about who you are on the inside.”

The frog jumped excitedly.

“Yes! And besides, we can find ways to play together without hurting ourselves.”

From that day on, Tito learned that true friends value kindness and friendship more than anything else. Now, he had friends to share adventures with, without fear.

Moral: True friends will love you for who you are inside, not for how you look on the outside.
